Updating firefox 2 to 3
I tried various times throughout the day, and restarted the browser as well.I finally had to re-download Firefox to get version 55. Had 54.0.1 installed, and upon release of version 55 on August 8th, Firefox was still saying my version was up to date.
As Mozilla is about to break all my addons as well as force me onto 64 bit, I've no choice but to stop updating Firefox on that PC.I did read a update instruction I found on the Mozilla website but I can not use the tips as my old version of FF looks different. In windows it's standard to download the program and then install by a program but this doesn't work in Ubuntu.Can you please help me course this is a problem for me.Mozilla updates its Firefox web browser frequently, pushing down security fixes and new features that all of its users should enable.
